My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Hermes Hotel for three days, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to all of Athens' main attractions. We found ourselves passing by the hotel's street countless times during our walks around the city. The hotel provided us with all of the comforts we were expecting, and the reception staff, including hard-working ladies Margarita and Eleni, were always ready to assist us. However, it was Eva who truly stood out for us, as she went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and hassle-free. Sorry, I also have to mention two gentlemen which I don't remember the names. The housekeeping staff kept our room spotless and tidy throughout our stay. The breakfast was much better than I was expecting. (OK. The rooms if Hermes does not have the Acropolis view. I clearly understand if we had that panoramic view we couldn't effort to stay.) In summary, we highly recommend Hermes Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and centrally located place to stay in Athens.

Super clean room and bathroom, wifi worked perfectly all the time and we were in the 4th floor. Room was perfect, plenty of room to keep clothes and luggage, there was a fridge and A/C, plenty of hot water day and night. Location was amazing, few minutes walking to all the main sites. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of options, the lovely lady Eva was welcoming to people to the breakfast room every morning, she was very helpful and kind, the staff in this hotel is very friendly and professional. Jusr next to the reception there is a big sitting room with free coffee, tea and biscuits and also many books to read and relax, there is a private parking at the front of the hotel, handy if you are renting a car. There is a great roofbar just 4 mins walking is in The Plaka Hotel. We loved everything in Hermes Hotel

Andre, the Reception staff was hospitable, very helpful and friendly. Unlike the Reception staff at Plaka Hotel, where I stayed for 2 nights prior to my stay at Hermes. Andre was patient with me and booked a dinner reservation for me. Unlike the reception older man at Plaka, who was rather impatient with me. He didn't want me asking him questions about dining, etc. I wish I had stayed the prior two nights at Hermes, which was newer, more modern and had friendly staff. I also like that every morning a staff came to us at breakfast to see what they can help us with. This makes Hermes hotel the best in Athens!

Really good location, easy walk to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square and a host of local eateries on the door step so no shortage of food options. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was on the smaller side but adequate. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Good size lounge area downstairs behind reception with free coffee/tea. Nice rooftop area with views (strangely no-one mentioned this on check-in but nice place to relax). Good wi-fi. Good value for money, would happily stay again.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge area had useful guide books that I could browse (as well as free coffee/biscuits. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate with good coffee, yoghurts and juicy apples (cooked breakfast not quite up to 'Irish breakfast' standards but hey...). Location superb with lots of good restaurants within 200m of the hotel, also wine bars/japanese pub/grill.
